Back in 2006 I introduced the 90 minute appointment. I offered a 5 hour courtesan rate which is about the cost of a 4 hour appointment in 2006. In 2008 I began offering a 12 hour courtesan rate for a reasonable rate. Also in 2008 I re-designed my site with quick stats of the ladies on the main page with their age, measurements and ethnic background. Now it seems as though all of the above is being used by various agencies in Toronto. Why does this bother me? Because I am the one who is coming up with these idea's and they are taking them without any acknowledgement and stealing the code from CupidsEscorts.ca

Why is it that these agencies are doing this? Are they unable to come up with idea's on their own? Or is Cupids just that cutting edge?

I find it ironic that the one agency that has taken the quick stats and copied the code from my rates page uses a tag line of "Often Imitated, Never Duplicated... " on various message boards regarding the industry. Are they now going to change it to "Always Imitating, Always Duplicating"? I think they should.

After university, I spent a decade living a fun but not extravagant life in the big city. I worked for not-great pay in the not-for-profit world. It was my choice, of course, but here I am now with debt the size of a luxury SUV with no SUV (thank god) to show for it. To top it all off, I made the decision to go back to school for eight months to pursue what w ill eventually be a very rewarding and slightly more lucrative career.

I'd love to hook up with an agency, but after a few years volunteering on a mobile health unit for a southern-Ontario AIDS network' I met a number of unsavoury characters who "ran agencies," and I'm scared to go into one without recommendations.

It has happened so often now I almost want to laugh when it happens but it isn't funny. There are tons of agencies over the years that have taken content from my site. To date it has happened EIGHT times and it just ticks me off to no end. How hard is it to piece together a few sentences? I have worked hard with Cupids to put forth the best image I possibly can. I have taken creative writing classes even so that I can work on my craft and have original content when writing the biographies of the ladies, hiring, FAQ pages, etc. In fact the only content that is not original to Cupids is the testimonials pages for both clients and ladies, everything else has been written by me, Jillian Hollander. It has now happened again today that I got a call from a nice client who happened upon this website - http://www.metrodivas.com/aboutus.php - where they have stolen my home page almost word for word and are selling it as their own. It really irks me when people do this! I am no John Grisham but it sure seems like I am in the world of writing escort web sites.

And finally, I am glad to be home after spending the past summer in Vancouver attempting to open our West Coast operation.  As you can see it has been a tough go - the Vancouver market is very different then Toronto and it has been a learning experience to say the least.  We are continuing trying to grow our West Coast operation as well as opening our Ottawa and Kingston office but all good things take time.  I love Vancouver and can't wait to find myself retiring on a float home so I can watch the sunset while drinking ginger tea but I still have so much to do in Toronto so I am staying in Ontario for the most part.  We are still hiring and doing what we can to make the best darn agency Canada has ever seen...
