At Cupid’s, we have always prioritized the safety and comfort for all our Companions and will continue to do so as we begin our own phased reopening. We are excited to return to doing what we love, and we will continue to make sure that every encounter is comfortable, memorable, and most importantly fun.
We have established new policies, and we will take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of our Companions, Staff, and Clientele.
At the beginning of each shift, Companions must confirm their absence of symptoms. If a Companion begins to experience symptoms, they will be taken off the schedule and will self-isolate until they receive either a negative test result or have self isolated for 14 days.
Should a Companion test positive for COVID within 14 days of your encounter, we will notify you immediately so that you can take the necessary steps (i.e. self isolation, testing) to focus on your wellbeing.
As always, Companions will determine their availability and are only available on the days/times outlined on their schedules. Companions will continue to receive transportation to and from encounters by one of our drivers, who will be following the same screening process as all of our Companions. Drivers will wear masks and disinfect their cars throughout their shift. Companions will be provided with the necessary protections in the form of masks and sanitizer. Upon arrival, Companions will knock and use hand sanitizer/thoroughly wash their hands as soon as they enter.
Before your encounter begins, Companions will use contactless thermometer guns to check your temperature when meeting. This temperature check will be part of each safety call, and your temperature will be recorded. If you refuse a temperature check, your encounter will be cancelled and no refunds will be provided. Clients can also do temperature checks on the Companions if they wish to do so.
As borders begin to reopen, we will continue to monitor COVID results and travel protocols in other provinces and countries. Companions will be given the option to accept or decline invitations to travel outside of the province. If a destination is considered to be a hotspot for COVID, or if the suggested destination has lax screening/testing procedures, we will refuse the travel request in order to protect the health and wellbeing of our Companions.
Prior to booking an encounter, all Clients will be asked the following questions:
Have you had close contact with anyone with acute respiratory illness or travelled outside of Ontario in the past 14 days?
Have you traveled outside of Canada since March 20th?
Do you (or does anyone in your household/social bubble) have a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, or had close contact with a confirmed/suspected case of COVID-19?
