Picture this – a couple dressed in sexy fox costumes nuzzling and petting heavily while their furry bodies press against each other. If that turns you on you might be interested in the furry fandom and yiffing.
The subculture of furry fandom is large, male dominated, and influenced by science fiction. It’s made up of people who are interested in fictional animal characters that possess human qualities. These qualities could include walking on two legs, wearing clothes, and expressing themselves like a human would. Interest can vary from anthropomorphic art to dressing up as an animal. As a subculture they have their own term for their sexual activities. Yiffing can refer to the cyber sex, sexual contact, or flirting that occurs between members of the furry fandom. The word “yiffing” was inspired by the noise that foxes make when they’re having sex. YIFF is also said to stand for “Young Incredibly Fuckable Furry.”
Now you know how to respond when someone asks you “what does the fox say?” Yiff, yiff, yiff!
