With a combination of balance and flexibility almost anything is possible when it comes to sex. The Kama Sutra is a collection of ancient Hindu Sanskrit texts dealing with sex and life containing advice on sexual acts. Although these ‘64 postures’ were written by hand, over the centuries many artistic interpretations have depicted the positions. From simple lying on each other like Face-to-Face to gymnastic moves like The Ape, there’s something for everyone.
What was the first sex position? Some might imagine Adam and Eve doing it in the missionary position, however a legend in Jewish mythology tells the story of Adam having a first wife, Lilith, who Adam preferred to mount on top of. When Lilith rebelled against Adam by mounting on top of him it lead to a disagreement ending with Lilith eventually leaving Adam and becoming one with the air. So any time a woman rides on top think girl power.
For many the most influential source of sex positions is pornography. In fact a new poll by Pew Research suggests women are the biggest increasing demographic of online porn viewership in recent years. If you watch enough porno you’ll see a lot of positions, but remember the most common moves used in porn are camera friendly. When you’re feeling like going porn-star style consider working out a routine, going from doggy style to reverse cowgirl can be done while in-penetration with some co-ordination.
What you can do? Well, almost anything with the right amount of stretching, core strength, and determination when it comes to positions. A recommendation for men with smaller size could be to find an angle that stimulates her g-spot, something that requires her on her back with legs together in the air like the Folded Deck Chair could work wonders. Alternatively if your man’s size is too large, ladies might prefer a position where they can dominate the thrusting, like The Clip or some of these.
